Ayurveda Immersion Course - holistic healing based on the rhythms of nature

The Atman Yoga School® offers intensive 20 hour weekend trainings in Ayurveda.

As the sister science of yoga, ayurveda is a 5,000 year old holistic healing modality from India that uses lifestyle, food, herbs, mantras, and yoga to help individuals address their medical concerns and health issues. Ayurveda aims to bring balance into the body, mind, and spirit through the removal of dis-ease, and by remembering our own true nature. Ayurvedic treatments utilize all of the five senses, and treat the root cause of dis-ease, not just the symptoms of illness like much of allopathic medicine. It focuses on nourishment, rejuvenation, and energy management, and teaches practitioners how to minimize/remove ama (toxins) while building ojas (healthy energy reserves). Incorporate ayurvedic practices into your daily life to create health, balance, and harmony in your body, mind, and spirit.
